Being Blue Blooded Brahmin

Shiva’s Third Eye View

1234The stage was set.

Red Carpet was on fire.

Kailash was full of majestic aura, glittering like gold, shining like silver, guarded by the invincible army whose lord holds Nuclear Weapon in unlimited quantities, enigmatically beautiful and pleasing, decorated with million flowers (roses, lotus, orchids, cherry blossom, dahlia, bleeding heart, tulip, lily of the valley and countless more), full of snow but still warm and soothing like heaven, small diamonds and rubies floating in the air, golden seats, silverware and dazzling rainbow lighting all around. This extraordinary scene was created for the first time ever by the gods, for the gods.

Slowly and steadily Gods started arriving at Kailash on their vahanas, welcomed by Ganesh and Karthikey at the gates. Ganesh being impressed by the Oscars held on earth, asked all the men to wear suits while women were asked to wear saree. The first guests were the heart-throbbing guru Sikhs, with their terrific turbans and black tux. Then the Saptrishis came in their Raymond suits. Jesus preferred Armani and Muhammad was seen in a vest coat. Hanuman and other immortals were looking exotic in their white mandarin suits. Trithankaras preferred simple lounge suits. Devtas wore tuxedos in a similar fashion which showed their unity. Zeus, his brothers and sons were wearing double-breasted classics. The goddess looked exotic in saree with the 9 navratri goddesses looking simple and powerful in their white attire. Roman goddesses loved the idea of trying Indian saree and make ups. Since many gods were meeting each other for the first time, looks meant a lot. Buddha showed at last in his simple kurta and an enlightening white light radiating from it. Brahma and Vishnu followed their leader Shiva by wearing black tux with a red tie. The humans together decided to wear formal business suits to be different from gods.

As soon as everyone got settled and snacks were served, Shiva entered from the backstage. He was to give an opening note in front of this prestigious crowd, inaugurate the event by lighting diyas.

His words will echo throughout the world, giving direction and inspiration to every god there has been and there will be, strengthening his position as the strongest in all the religion and showcase his humble and generous nature.shiva

The words were

“Good evening my fellow Gods, I pay my respects to Brahma the creator, Vishnu the caretaker, Jesus the light of hope, Muhammad the burning fire within, Buddha the knowledgeable, Sikh gurus the strongest, Trithankaras the devoted, Devtas the powerful, Zeus the mighty and my beloved friend, Saptrishis the seven swords of Brahma, 7 immortals the savior of mankind, the best of humans, Namaskar and thanks for your contribution towards the welfare of earth, all its species, plantation, water and air and land; I will be in your forever debt.

We rule a world, a universe of million and billions of planets, enormous stars and gigantic uncountable galaxies. We are responsible for peace, establishing the good and killing the devil, protection of the weak, we are the hope, the small light at the end of dark tunnel, it’s our duty to inspire and motivate, to give direction and purpose, and it’s a responsibility humongous and great.

We are called by different names, Hinduism, Jainism, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Buddhism and many more, we hear the request of living beings from the planet earth, be it an insect or a whale, a mouse or a giant squid, they ask for our help, our forgiveness. It is only we who instill fear in them, it is only us who make them do well to their fellow being and it is only the imperfections in our design that let the mind overpowers the heart.

We have different books, some follow bible, some follow Quran, some preaches Bhagwat Geeta, and some preach guru granth sahib. Some ask their followers to pray 5 times a day, some don’t believe in prayers; some prescribe rituals, some let it be free like air; some use the indestructible trident, some have chakra on their finger, some can give sight to the blind with naked hands, some can bring thunder and storm like no other.

Islam ask its women to hide their faces in burkha, others ask to maintain their dignity, and one bestows them the freedom she wants.

Our religions are based on faith, on hope and fear.

We gave people religions to foster within them the feelings of love, kindness, compassion, courage, leadership, hope, optimism, peace, tranquility and progress.

But sadly, as I proclaim tonight, Humanity has failed us my friends. And it’s not just they who have failed us, but it is also us who have failed ourselves too.

My great vision showed me that how we have created devils within our own religions. Shia and Sunni; Pandit, Baniya, Kshtriya and Shudra; SC, ST and OBC; Catholics and Jews; Digambars and Shwetambars and many more.

Terror, fear and darkness envelops the whole world; blood has become more common than pure water; millions killed on our names. I have wondered for long now, was killing our purpose? Some say destiny is all written by us, you cannot change what’s happening, and sitting in my dhyan, I sometimes feel powerless. Where were my powers when Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed, where was I on 9/11 massacre, why I couldn’t stop the world wars, it seems like I have lost my touch.

Kalyuga is upon us, Humans have gained again the knowledge of Nuclear weapons, the one we call as Brahmastra. Some day the nation of USA itself may possess more weapons than us. Earlier we thought that human will stick to the earth and it was only ravana and few who possessed the technology to fly. Today an infant can be seen flying. Soon the human will develop superior technology; they have already found the anti-matter. They possess the power of destruction. We accept it or not, mother earth and we are at their mercy. If they killed and demolished themselves, we all will die, since we exist on their beliefs and survive on their prayers. We are Gods but we are their Gods and we live as long as our followers live.

Mother earth and her other beings are already dying, some even have gone extinct.

The time is high my friends, the dawn has come, peace and tranquility has vanished, hunger and helplessness strives every soul, the greed is the motivating spirit now, compassion just remains in talk, and the world needs to change.

Tonight we will drink, think and decide, what needs to be done, for the betterment of human kind and the survival of us.

Welcome to Kailash.”

The Feast

1111111“There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophies. My brain and my heart are my temples; my philosophy is kindness.”

Dalai Lama

Recently Shiva the almighty, decided to hold a feast for gods. He used his telepathic powers and sent a message all throughout the universe which read –

“It’s high time we all meet, discuss and celebrate the great world we have created. I call upon all the Gods, Immortal Gurus and Idolized Humans to enlighten my Kailash parvat with their benign presence. My eldest son Ganesh will welcome you at the gates.”

one for all, all for oneShiva was respected amongst all the religions as a humble and just god with ultimate universe-destructing powers and so all the gods replied. 10 gurus of Sikhism accepted the invitation with great pleasure; Buddha agreed to come for discussion; Jesus Christ replied that he is available on all the days except Sunday; Muhammad was busy but he said he will manage and spare some time unless it is Friday; Brahma and Vishnu were pleased that finally Shiva has taken the bold move of calling all the gods. Zeus was ecstatic when he heard the voice of his old pal Shiva inviting him and his family for celebration. 24 Trithankaras agreed to come but stated beforehand that they won’t eat anything. Indra and other devtas were shocked with the move but accepted the invitation since it was Shiva calling. Saptrishis were also invited and with them the seven immortals of earth including Hanuman.

While planning the feast, Ganesh, the intelligent, suggested something to his father. He said “All the gods will be in one room talking about the planet earth, the planet of humans. I feel that it will be unfair if we brainstorm about them without any representation from their side. I believe that we should call the great humans who have influenced the past, present and future of human civilsations for the feast from heaven and hell.”

Finding the suggestion logical, Shiva agreed to it.

Hence, these human were invited to the grand celebration: Alexander the great, Napoleon Bonaparte, Mahatma Gandhi, Ashok, William Shakespeare, Rabindranath Tagore, Mother Teresa, Adolf Hitler, Lenin, Abrahim Lincoln, George Washington, Julius Caesar, Albert Einstein, Nikolas Tesla, Isaac Newton, Martin Luther King junior, Genghis Khan, Aristotle, Chanakya, Charles Darwin, Karl Marx, Elizabeth I of England, Queen Victoria, Christopher Columbus, Plato, Leonardo Da Vinci, Augustus, Thomas Edison, Galileo Galilei, Mark Twain, Adam Smith, John Adam, James Cook, Voltaire, Socrates, Constantine, Michelangelo, Osama Bin Laden, Mao Zedong, Joseph Stalin and 2 new comers in Heaven Steve Jobs and Nelson Mandela.

The list of guest became so huge that the whole army of Shiva was asked to lend a hand in the preparations. Even the finances fell short and Parvati ji started questioning the logic behind the feast.  Ganesh was asked to take a loan from Kuber at 8% (.5 more than the yield on GOI bonds). All the devtas also came up to help and Brahma gave the guarantee for repayment.

2nd October, the birth date of Mahatama Gandhi, was given the privilege of holding the one and only, the exceptional, the truly sacrosanct and sanctified meet in the universe: The Great Gathering of Gods.

Ganesh, his wives, Karthikey, all the devtas and the army of Shiva worked day and night planning the decoration of the hall, the delicacies to be prepared, seating arrangements, selecting the host of the event, preparing the opening speech by Lord Shiva, list of all the gods who will be awarded for their contribution, counting human votes for the most popular god and goddess, dividing the task among themselves, deciding dress code, lifetime achievement award, teams for an open debate on the problems faced by the human civilizations, awards to the 5 most revolutionary Humans, directing ‘the condition of mother earth – a short film’, a chess game between Zeus and Shiva, a philosophical discussion between Brahma, Trithankaras and Buddha; a friendly cricket match between Hindu and Greek gods, open racing competition and many more events and games.

Finally the day arrived.

It was about time.

For the truth to be revealed.

The purpose of a religion explained.

Acts of the humanity to be questioned.

Mother Earth to be saved.

The Judgment Day was here.

Krishna’s Captain jack sparrow’s moment

“Hang on a minute; I just need to understand something. So, you will fight against them and they will fight against you, only account of him wants to kill him.
Where is the sense?
I’d say, let them fight each other. We may sit, drink and play some wagers “said Captain Jack Sparrow when the crew of Barbossa was taking out their sword to kill the crew of Blackbeard.
It truly makes no sense. Why the whole crew will fight each other on the account that Barbossa wants to kill Blackbeard. Why should there be so much blood shed just because of a dispute between 2 people.
Ironically, Krishna encountered the same moment and opportunity to avert the biggest battle in the history of India – THE MAHABHARATA.

He was sent as a peace messenger from Pandavas sides into the court of the King of Hastinapur, King Dhrishtrastra. Considered as the god, Krishna was the ultimate being and the divine. Before his arrival in the court of hastinapur, even the great and extraordinary, the man who was in his own league, Bhishma Pitamah (the one who took oath of forever celibacy and having the boon of wish-long life) and (the legendary teacher of Pandavas and kauravas, the student of lord Parshuram) Dronacharya went together to welcome him. Krishna was indomitable, resolute, and tactful and could have changed the course of history only if he had the mind of Captain Jack Sparrow. He entered the court of King Dhrishtrashtra, begged him to give away his ambitions, to ask his son Prince Duryodhan to stop his cruel madness and give back Indraprastha to Pandavas. He gave a legendary speech, threatening all the warriors sitting in the court that they are leading themselves to a definite doom, that no army in this world can stop the arrows of Arjun and the power of Bhim (technically false because Pandavas would have lost the battle of Kurushetra if Krishna haven’t used his wonderful mind, lets leave this part for some other day). But even he knew that the war was inevitable. Pandavas were desperate for revenge and Duryodhan was blind in his ego, and the greats of kuru clan, the smart minds of the court had given up all hope. Battle was predestined, bloodshed was necessary, Dharma was to be established but for no reason at all. The real issue was not between the Hastinapur and Indraprastha, but was between Pandavas and Kauravas and their right on the throne (I know you love GAME OF THRONES, but believe me, Mahabharata is far more interesting than GOT). Now I am entering the zone of imagination, the WHAT IF section. Just imagine if Krishna would have challenged Duryodhan and his brothers for a direct combat with the 5 Pandavas – Yudhishtra, Bhim, Arjun, Nakul and Sahdev. Duryodhan would have never said no to this idea because in this way he would have earned the throne for himself (honestly he wouldn’t have said no because of his ego) and Pandavas would have been delighted because they will be able to take revenge against their true enemies, avoid unnecessary bloodshed and killing of their loved ones (like Bhishma Pitamah, guru Dronacharya). I know there were many others who got their revenge through the war of Kurushetra like Shikhandi (Amba) taking her revenge from Bhishma Pitamah, Dhristraduman ( son of Drupad ) taking his revenge from Dronacharya, Karan’s desire for ultimate battle against Arjun and many others but these could have been kept for some other occasions and events. I also know that some will question that time was less as it was the ending of dwapar yuga and massive killing was the only way for the establishment of Dharma and killing of all the asuras and evil men, but still this What If is worth a thought.
